| Friday Night | Saturday Night | Sunday Night | Quiz and Shooting Stars Cheque Presentation |
| Friday 29th October We arrived at Bognor at about 4 pm, so missed the fans mingle at the Bar Rosso in the Skyline Pavilion. As we were half board, it was time to sample Butlins wonderful food! (school dinners come to mind). 7 pm and we headed down to Reds, which was to be our base for all events for the weekend. We had introductions from John Glover, Miriam from Tony's Fan Club and Chris from Faithful. Show started at around 7.45 pm and Tony was on first. Tony sang quite a few songs that we hadn't heard for quite a long time. It was good to hear Riverside that John Keeble composed. Tony finished with Hey Jealousy and we shouted for him and waited but he didn't come back for the encore that the set list says that he should have done. I thought the set was a good one although at some points I was one of the few people singing along! The songs were not as well know as some of Tony's usual ones. |

| Saturday 30th October The organised activities for Saturday started at 10 am with a showing of the Reborn in the USA series, unfortunately this was an uncut version of the programme and showed all the contestants, whereas I would liked just to have seen the bits with Tony and Pete in. Whilst the other contestants were on, it was a good chance to catch up with people that visit this site and the chat on Tony's site. Tina, Wendy and Gema were collecting money for Shooting Star Children's Hospice - photos from the cheque presentation at the top of the page - £219.97 was raised. 12 noon and it was time for the Football - Hadley United vs Faithful FC, well done to Hadley United who won 9 - 6. Time for a quick lunch and back to Reds for more video watching and nattering. There was a raffle with the opportunity to win lots of Tony and the band goodies. I was lucky enough to win a T-shirt signed by Tony, John and all the band, plus Pete and Richard - see pictures of it on the quiz link at the top of the page. Second concert of the weekend and Tony was on second. He did a mainly Spandau set, but also included 'Hammer to Fall', 'Save a Prayer' and 'Delilah'. It was exceptionally hot and Tony looked like he would melt at any moment. He just rocked - it was an excellent set. |

| Sunday 31st October Sunday morning started in Reds with the first showing of the unreleased HNK DVD. It is a good DVD and I hope it will be available soon. Bowling was at 12 noon, but unfortunately the Keeble Kings were beaten by the Go West team. Sunday afternoon was time for the quiz. Tony was answering questions on Go West. On his team was Chris from Faithful and two Go West fans who had won a draw to be on the team. Richard Drummie was answering questions on Tony and Spandau along with Three people from Tony's Fan Club. There was also a lyrics round where the teams had to guess the next line. John Glover was quizmaster with John Keeble as adjudicator and scorer for the Tony questions. The quiz was hysterical with Tony trying to answer the questions on Go West. He didn't do too badly on the lyric round. It was difficult to decide whether you wanted to support the team that Tony was in or the Fan Club team. I decided to support the team that Tony was in and unfortunately they lost. After the quiz, this was the point that it had been decided that fans could meet Tony and get autographs. Unfortunately this turned into a free for all with the stage nearly collapsing under the weight of so many fans who wanted to meet Tony. Tony seemed overwhelmed by this, but still smiled throughout. Sunday evening and the show of the evening was a joint one of Tony, Peter and Richard, a sort of re-run of the tour earlier this year. Yet again the venue was exceptionally hot. The fans had done them proud with the Halloween fancy dress, although the guys didn't dress up. Tony arrived on stage with a red feather boa on at one point and two of the backing band members had devil horns on. Richard Drummie messed about with Tony's set lists and song words whilst he was off stage, by re-arranging them and turning them upside down. When Tony came back on he noticed what had been done and laughed, then screwed up and threw the ones that he had finished with into the audience, saying 'don't need that'. It was an excellent end to the weekend. Tony met people and signed some autographs at the end of the show, but was overwhelmed again. |
