I went with a friend (Peter Cox fan) to see
Tony at the Guild Hall Preston, he came on stage wearing a dark grey suit
with poppy and a pink shirt no surprise there.

The concert was a mixture of excellent songs and funny chat including
telling how he had been at the Rebok Stadium (Bolton) the previous night I
was a bit put out by this as I live in Bolton and could have gone to see him
there as well but never mind as it was a football do with some old
footballer's and I don't think they would have let me in, Tony said he had
had a few to many once again no surprise there.

For the first half of the concert everyone stayed in their seats but during
the second half encouraged by Tony people got up and danced so it was more
of a party atmosphere.
The music was a good mix of old and not so old and the new arrangements of
Spandau Ballet classics were excellent, and Tony's voice lends it's self
really well to the old swing tunes, which all added up to a great concert.

When the concert was over most people waited for Tony to come out and do the
meet and greet it was quite a while before he appeared but no one seemed to
mind and he was worth the wait, he chatted to everyone and most people
including myself got a photo taken with him he also signed my Passing
Strangers CD.

All in all it was a very good night at a very good venue.
